In the first quarter of 2025, the puzzle games category on the Android platform in Kenya showcased interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, the top five puzzle games experienced varied performances in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Bus Escape: Traffic Jam from ABI GLOBAL LTD. saw a peak in weekly downloads at 1.9K in late January. Its revenue, however, started strong at the beginning of the quarter with $157 and gradually declined to around $42 by the end of March. The game maintained a solid number of active users, peaking at 3.4K in early February before dropping to 960 by the end of the quarter.

Seat Away by Rollic Games had a moderate performance with a notable increase in weekly downloads, reaching 163 by the end of March. Revenue peaked at $114 in early March, while the active user base remained relatively stable, hovering around 2.2K to 2.7K throughout the quarter.

Deal To Be A Millionaire from Niceteen Games experienced a noticeable decline in weekly downloads from 7.2K at the start to 3.5K by the end of March. Revenue showed a slight upward trend, peaking at $64 in mid-March. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 6K to about 3.4K by the end of the quarter.

Manor Matters by Playrix had a steady revenue increase, reaching $97 towards the end of March. Downloads and active users, however, saw a decline, with downloads dropping to 28 and active users decreasing to 523 by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Scrabble® GO-Classic Word Game from Scopely showed strong initial performance in downloads, peaking at 3.2K in mid-January before tapering off to 2.1K by March end. The revenue was relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, ending at $63 in March. Active users declined from a high of 12.6K to 4.6K by the end of the quarter.
